| BE NOT AFRAID! The late Holy Father, John Paul the Great, inspired millions of youth and young adults around the world to live the gospel courageously. Naming Blessed Pier Giorgio the "Man of the Beatitudes" in 1977, he considered him a personal role model and named him the Patron Saint of many World Youth Days.
